C.A.B. and I enjoyed the second annual Noon Yards Eve at The Yards Park 355 Water Street SE in Washington DC. The Noon Yards Celebration was from 10am -1pm. I had totally forgot about this event until another mom sent out a text about it. I heard last year was a blast and was determined not to miss it. C.A.B. and I were glad we didn’t. C.A.B. had a blast.
There were stilt walkers, clowns performing tricks, multiple moon bounces and slides, a trackless train, and face painting. There was a nice crowd in attendance. C.A.B. loved the big elephant moon bounce with the two slides. There wasn’t even a long line maybe five kids or so in front of him each time and he must of did the slides about six times; granted we did get there a little late. The only things that had lines were the face painting and train ride. There was even a balloon drop at noon with a countdown. This was a great family event to celebrate the New Year and it is free. C.A.B. and I plan on being in attendance next year.
