CoCo Outdoor Movie
Saturday, September 15th, 8pm, School House Pond is located at 14100 Governor Oden Bowie Drive Upper Marlboro, MD 20772 across the street from the County Administration Building.

Come out and join the Upper Marlboro Events Committee for their FREE Summer Movie Nights at the Schoolhouse Pond! This will be the last Outdoor Movie Night of the Summer screening Coco!

Maggianos Kids Cooking Class

Fall Food Truck Frenzy and Family Fun Fest

There will be entertainment, face painters, games and of course… food trucks! While you are there, you can visit the Wizard of Oz playground and the animals at Watkins Nature Center and Old Maryland Farm.

KIDFest

KIDfest, voted one of the best local festivals by Bethesda Magazine, features exciting STEM, arts, and creative activities of all kinds that inspire kids and adults alike. There will be 80+ Interactive Exhibits, Educator-Led Coding Jams,- Live Music Performances
and more!

ZooFiesta
Sunday, September 23rd, 11am – 4pm, Smithsonian National Zoo, 3001 Connecticut Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20008

The Smithsonian National Zoo hosts this free event in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. Bring along the entire family to enjoy live music, authentic cuisine and educational activities regarding conservation in South and Central America. Animal keepers will also be on-site for talks, feedings and demonstrations that highlight a range of animals from the region, including sloths, giant anteaters and Panamanian golden frogs!

Leesburg Airshow
Saturday, September 29th, 11am – 4pm, Leesburg Executive Airport, 1991 Sycolin Road, Leesburg, Virginia 20175

This event provides a wonderful opportunity to see a snapshot of the general aviation world. The static display area, located on the airport’s aircraft parking ramp, will feature many unique, experimental and antique aircraft. The airshow exhibitors will showcase the many facets of general aviation, such as flight training, corporate transportation and emergency rescue operations. In addition, there will be inflatables for the kids, and a variety of food vendors. The skies above Leesburg will come alive with skydiving and aerobatic performances. This event there is a suggested donation of $3 per person and $5 per family. The donation can be made at the Airshow entrance gates. There are NO parking or shuttle fees.

Fall for Fairfax Kidsfest with Reptiles Alive!

Fall for Fairfax KIDSFEST is a super fun fall festival for the whole family! We will present two Reptiles Alive shows at 12:30 and 3:00 pm. Our show will feature an engaging reptile expert who will showcase a variety of colorful live animals along with exciting stories and animal facts.

– Face Painting with Michelle Johnson from 6:00pm-8:00pm – Balloon Artist making hats, animals, and more – Special Andy Armadillo appearances – Craft/Activity in the Corral – Kids receive a Free scoop of Ice Cream with the purchase of a Kids Meal that can be topped at our Sundae Bar

Butterfly Pavilion

Free Every Tuesday at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History; 10th St. and Constitution Ave NW. The museum hours are from 10:00am and 5:30pm.

Come experience the butterfly experience; take a stroll among live butterflies and exotic plants.
